Les Menuires is approximately 600 miles from Calais. The roads are excellent and few traffic problems make driving one of the most convenient ways to get to the resort. The total journey time is approximately 9 hours and will cost you about €60 in tolls each way. As you depart Calais follow the signs to Reims, Troyes, Dijon, Lyon, Chambery, Albertville, Moutiers and finally Les Menuires / Val Thorens.
The address for chalet Bruyeres is Chalet Bruyeres, Oree des Pistes, Les Bruyeres, Les Belleville 73440 Savoie. Driving directions for your transfer driver are as follows: Follow the directions to Les Menuires. Then follow directions to Val Thorens. Drive for about 10 minutes and then take a left turn sign posted Les Bruyeres. Follow the road straight then go round the hairpin bend, drive for about another 2 minutes, past the Sherpa supermarket on your left. Stop at the lift and phone our staff (Ben & Hope) on 00 33 7681 53802 for them to come and meet you. If you are driving your own car, Ben and Hope will show you where to park in the underground car park and give you a sticker for your car authorising you to park there.
Please note that it is obligatory to carry snow chains when driving in the Alps, but don’t worry, we can help you fit your snow chains – we’ve had lots of practice…!!
A few car rental options for you to choose from. Shopping around helps as prices and packages may change.

You can also get the high speed rail link from London St Pancras or Ebbsfleet, and then change in Paris to a TGV which also then goes onto Moutiers.
